About the role
This is your chance to play a key role in delivering high‑quality, hands‑on engagements that help PaymentIQ customers succeed. Building on the strong momentum gained from our acquisition by Incore Invest AB and continued operation as a standalone business, PaymentIQ is focused on scaling what already works—platform excellence, delivery quality, and long‑term client success. To support our growing merchant and partner base, we are looking for a senior professional who can join our in-house consultancy team. The ideal candidate has a strong affinity with PaymentIQ (PIQ), takes ownership of delivery, and thrives in dynamic payment environments. The role focuses on optimisation, configuration, and implementation support. You’ll work close to the platform and to real‑world merchant use cases. If you are hands‑on, proactive, and motivated by outcomes rather than process alone, this role is a strong fit.
Key responsibilities
- Stability & Scalability: Deliver stable, scalable PaymentIQ implementations that enable merchants to go live confidently and operate reliably in production.
- Performance Optimisation: Configure and optimise PaymentIQ setups to improve payment performance, resilience, and conversion, allowing merchants to grow their business confidently.
- Operational Excellence: Ensure production readiness through end‑to‑end validation and controlled rollouts, minimising risk and disruption.
- Advisory & Guidance: Act as a PaymentIQ subject‑matter resource, ensuring merchants can achieve growth through clear guidance and sound platform decisions.
- Ownership: Own complex issues end‑to‑end, driving resolution, continuous improvements, and repeatable best practices.
Requirements
- Experience: 3+ years of experience delivering and running complex implementation, integration, or optimisation projects.
- PaymentIQ Expertise: Strong hands‑on exposure to PaymentIQ (PIQ), with a solid understanding of how the platform works.
- Results Orientation: High standards for quality and results‑driven mindset.
- Orchestration Expertise: Experience working closely with dynamic payment environments, including orchestration logic, and optimisation of a multi-payment provider set-up.
- Proactive Mindset: A proactive approach, you identify risks and improvements early.
- Stakeholder Communication: Confidence engaging with both technical teams and commercial stakeholders, clearly explaining platform behaviour, trade‑offs, and delivery decisions.
